The Flash Band Summer Showcase
Forty musicians. Ten brand new bands. One night of great music. The Flash Band Summer Showcase brings together a group of experienced musicians, introduces them through a meet-and-greet jam session and gives them a month to form and practice as one-time flash bands. For musicians it allows the opportunity to take risks, try something new, and play with new folks. For the audience it’s a chance to see a diverse group of local musicians.
Festivities will kick off at 5pm, with the first band starting at 6. Don’t be late – after fifteen minutes, each band will be gone!
About the Flash Band Project
The Flash Band Project is an innovative musical showcase offering musicians the opportunity to create bands that exist for one night only. For the musicians, the Flash Band Project is an excuse to take chances, play with new musicians, or experiment with new styles. For the audience it’s a chance to see a diverse group of local musicians playing their best fifteen minutes each.
