The Dig at Red Palace

Merrijoy October 8, 2012 DC Live, events, News No Comments

New York band, The Dig kicked off their latest Fall tour in DC at H Street’s Red Palace last Wednesday. Having played in our city times before, the band was quite comfortable in their set filled with tracks from their sophomore album, Midnight Flowers. Tracks like All Tied Up, Black Water, Red Rose in the Cold Winter Ground, I Already Forgot Everything You Said, and my favorite off the latest record, Clouds and the White Noise were in the majority of the set, but they also played favorites like Carry Me Home and Sick Sad Morning (encore) from their debut full-length, Electric Toys. The crowd was electrified as they sang along to the majority, if not all of the songs. Definitely a great live act that supplies music that fits your ears quite perfectly. A band to see when they swing by your town!
