Pick-Up Productions is a one stop shop for creative music industry services. Based in the Washington, DC area, Pick-Up services the music industry with live show production, event booking, a full service recording studio, marketing, graphic design, and local music media.
Pick-Up recently and quite proudly opened the doors to it’s newly renovated studio and creative space in Kensington, MD and continues to pursue pushing the boundaries and forwarding the Washington, DC music scene.

Pick-Up is certifiably bad ass when it comes to art, design, and any of your other music related promotional needs. We have designed hundreds of posters, websites, album covers, tees, and just about anything related to making you look legit. Submissions
If you have a band or are an artist and would like to submit material for consideration or media coverage on our website, please send your materials via interweb to info@pickupproductions.com. Please consider that we do get a high volume of submissions and may not be able to respond to all of them, but fear not – we have received your email.

Band BOOKING
Have a band and need a show in the DC area? We can handle that.
Pick-Up has been booking shows throughout the DC area for years and can help get your band into some of the areas top venues. Simply give us a shout with your contact information and some info on your band/artist and we will get back to you. Please consider that we do get a high volume of submissions and may not be able to respond to all of them, but fear not – we have received your email.

Internships
We currently are offering the following internship positions. Internships are a great way to gain experience for future employment and gain college credit.
Junior Music Business Internship
Candidates are multi-faceted music business students interested in working with our team. This candidate would be responsible for assisting in multiple tasks such as artist booking, artist communications, contract and rider processing, band and venue research online and in the field, show production, audio engineering, and more. The position is unpaid but would provide work experience, portfolio materials, and possibly college credit. Pick-Up is growing rapidly so a future paid position within the company is a possibility.
Junior Graphic Design / Web / Media Internship:
Candidates are multi-faceted design and media students. Interns would be responsible for assisting in multiple tasks such as graphic design, web design, web and email marketing, social networking, video production, and more. The position is unpaid, but would provide work experience, portfolio materials, college credit, and bragging rights.
